How to be in your feminine-era...

Everyone has been hearing 'feminine energy' and 'divine feminine' buzzwords on tiktok and it's hard to escape. Having seen quite a few those videos myself, I found myself beginning to agree and understand as I delved further. With introspection I began to realise wow I really have not been cultivating my feminine energy as much as I could. The issue is, I didn't know where to begin, and I'm definitely very much in the process of exploring this part of myself.
So, where to begin? Everyone's journey is different (so are people's views on what can be considered feminine). For me, when I was younger I envisioned future me as this extremely put together, intelligent and successful woman. I imagined high heels, manicures and taking care of myself like the models I'd see on TV.
My view on femininity has definitely become more complex and is much deeper than the superficial aspect (but outwardly appearance is definitely very important). Below are some of the easier-to-implement aspects which you can implement today to be your most feminine you <3

Move slowly
Moving with intent and purpose is so important as a woman. You need to exude the self assurance of someone who knows what they're doing and when they're doing it, which all ties in with confidence. Don't run for the bus or train, make sure you are there 5 minutes earlier to begin your day in a slow-paced manner, allow time for your thoughts.
Everyone is always in a rush at all times, and you can set yourself apart by being that one person who moves at their own pace and with their own confidence. It is empowering to walk amongst the crowd at your own pace, in your own lane and you realise you don't need to get swept away with the crowd.
Moving slowly can be applied to everything, including eating slowly, which is so important for your digestion also by the way. Moving slowly and mindfully is a form of meditation (I know right), this creates a more peaceful state of mind for you as you are not constantly rushing and thinking about the next thing you need to do! Give it a try and you will notice a huge difference.
Practice gratitude
Being in touch with your feminine energy requires you to be in touch with your spiritual/emotional side, and this type of energy comes from within so you need to learn to lean into this side of yourself more often. What's been working for me, is practicing gratitude (or prayer or journalling) it's completely up to you what you decide to call it, I believe they all have the same outcome; peace.
When you are grateful, you begin noticing the beauty of everything, stuff that you would have missed in your previous high-stress mindset. The feminine in you is aware of the smallest details, creations and life, from lady birds, to clouds, to new flowers blooming.
By being grateful and appreciative for what you currently have and are experiencing will allow you to feel so much more connected with yourself, and all of that will help you to step into your ultimate feminine energy.
Low impact workouts
I personally love yoga and at-home pilates, personally for me it helps regulate my nervous system and I instantly feel better. it's also amazing for flexibility and as we grow older, our bodies will definitely thank us for it. Exercise doesn't have to be super complicated, or sweaty, thankfully we are in an age where we can just open up youtube or choose from hundreds of apps to do an at-home workout.
Stepping into your feminine energy is loving your body, not punishing it, which means looking after it any way you can, and exercise/movement is an amazing way to intentionally look after your physical health.
From-scratch
From-scratch can be anything and everything, but it involves taking part in every step of the creation project. I personally love cooking, so I will be mindful of the experience from start to finish, from selecting the veggies at the farmers market, to preparation and cooking, then finally devouring.
Creation can involve anything, whether it is caring for household plants, painting or writing poetry. As women, we thrive when we are in this creative mindset, and our energy flourishes. It can be easy to allow your time to pass you doom-scrolling, but this is the absolute worst thing you can do for yourself as you are suppressing your inner spiritual needs.
